Friday, December 30th, 2011When I was a small child I had few concerns. The concerns I did have were basic like, being warm, having food when I got hungry, something to drink and was I getting attention & love. These are basic to all human beings and we do not as a small child concern ourselves with the quality of the food, only with the taste, and did it satisfy my hunger. We trust our parents or guardians to have our best interest at heart and to give us food that is nutritious. But when you look at the diets of children today you will find it full of sugar and empty carbohydrates. Even the so called nutritionists that the school districts have hired have placed foods with empty calories on the school menu’s. With A. D. D. & A. D. H. D. being at epidemic proportions they have not figured out that if you feed a small child sugar and empty carbs you get a hyper child with no ability to focus.
Children require vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and rich omega 3, 6, & 9 oils to feed their little brains as they grow. You will not find these things in doughnuts, pizza, hot dogs, and spaghetti. They need to eat foods like fish which is not only rich in omega 3 oil, but is one of the best proteins you can find. The DHA in omega 3 oil replaces the DHA that is lost through not eating right. Many times if you give a child Omega 3 DHA you will solve your A. D. H. D. problem and will enable your child to become the sponge for learning they truly are.
Please, do not take my word for it, but do your own research. I am confident you will find that what I am telling you is accurate and true. Maybe there have not been many clinical trials, but the ones that have been done are pretty conclusive. No, where I have found my best information is through the experience of people like you and me, that have done it and had great results. If you have a child that they have diagnosed A. D. H. D. or A. D. D., please I implore you to give your child omega 3 fish oil, high in DHA before you put them on a drug like ridlin, or any other drug that would stifle your child’s creative ability, and cause them to be listless and sleep their young life away.
